The Hoffmann Group has achived the billion-euro sales mark. This is company’s best annual result in its entire history. For the first time in almost 100 years of the company’s history, the Hoffmann Group’s annual global turnover has crossed the magical billion-dollar mark to come in at 1.047 billion euros. This represents an increase of 8.9 per cent compared with the previous year. “We are, of course, delighted with this outstanding overall result. It shows that our customers are increasingly embracing our innovative range of services and are placing their trust in us as a system partner for quality tools”, commented Reinhard Banasch, Chief Executive Officer of the Hoffmann Group.
The Group has consolidated its market position both internationally and in Germany, which remains, as before, its most important market. Nevertheless 28% of the Group’s overall turnover was generated internationally. “Whilst continuing to focus clearly on our home market, we are strategically on track for continued healthy growth internationally“, stressed Banasch. “We see ourselves as allies of our customers and take their challenges to heart. This means listening, understanding and offering innovative solutions. This is why we consistently invest in our employees and develop our portfolio of services with an absolute focus on customer benefit.”
The Group’s success is also based on various product innovations from its own premium brand GARANT, which has received the internationally renowned Red Dot Design Award on numerous occasions in previous years. “GARANT allows our customers to benefit from the technical know-how and solutions expertise of the entire Hoffmann Group. We offer a premium range of products for all areas of application, from machining, clamping, measuring, assembling through to complete sets of works equipment from a single source. Our newly-opened workstations and storage centre in Odelzhausen is helping us realise our ambition of offering our customers the best in quality and service at all times. Our services range from specialist advice on planning to the expert installation of individually configurable products for operational facilities at our customers’ premises. Last year we successfully completed 400 ready-to-use assembly projects for our customers around the world. This is a testament to our strong performance in this segment too“, added Banasch.
The Hoffmann Group plans to enter additional new markets this year. “Our model as a system partner with a unique, three-fold combination of trading, manufacturing and service expertise is not only being successfully embraced in Europe, as our international experience shows. We are therefore convinced that we can support small, medium-sized and large companies throughout the world in optimising their procurement processes and improving productivity. We are perfectly equipped for the task”, Banasch concluded.
