The South Korean metal fabrication company Heung II Industrial Co. Ltd. will open its first U.S. manufacturing operation on the site of a customer’s plant in the The United States. “Because of Doosan’s existing relationship with Heung II’s parent company, we were able to successfully recruit a manufacturer that might not otherwise have been on our radar,” says Michael Smith, executive director of Statesville Regional Development.
