Thanks to a wide and diversified range, imcar approaches the market as reference partner able to satisfy the requirements of several sectors. Not a simple supply of machines and plants but the study and the development of customized reliable, efficient and performing processes.

With over 60 years of experience behind, Imcar boasts the record of being one of the most long-lived Italian companies still operating in the sector of the design and manufacturing of forming machines for plate and steel structural works. Established in fact in 1955, Imcar has soon gained an outstanding position in the national and international market, as reference partner, making available technological solutions in which performances, quality and reliability have merged into a winning synergy. An approach that has allowed the constant adaptation to the ever-changing market dynamics, giving birth to a constant evolution and achieving positive outcomes in the manufacturing of special bending machines, too.

«A corporate philosophy coupled with a complete range – explains the sales manager Federico Boracchi – whose target has always been to provide our customers not only with high-quality machines and plants but also with a reliable service of consulting and technical support for the fulfilment of any technical requirement».
Quality and expertise lavished by a team of about thirty people operating in the productive headquarters at Concorezzo, strategic location in the outskirts of Milan (on an area of 6,000 square metres of which 4,000 covered and taken up by production facilities), generating a turnover of about 10 million Euros.
«A turnover – adds Boracchi – that despite the market troubles is still moderately growing for us, with a positive trend that has by now been lasting for some years and that also for 2015 should not betray our expectations».
A positive vision dictated by a strong, more and more international bent for internationalization, leading today the company to generate about 85-90% of its turnover abroad.
«Our attitude for export – still underlines Boracchi – has grown in few years from 60-70% to the above mentioned datum; a growth that in time has exported our brand, our machines and our technology not only to North America, which anyway historically represents our reference market, but extensively to all continents».

From the coil to the finished product, also welded
The diversified product range proposed by Imcar, which can be considered one of the most varied on the market under all respects, today includes: standard plate bending machines with 2/3/4 rolls with and without NC, able to process thicknesses that vary from a minimum of 0.5 up to a maximum of 100 mm, for lengths included between 500 and 6,000 mm; 3-roll plate bending machines with variable geometry; coil, pallet or multi-pallet automated systems; profile bending machines able to work both with horizontal and vertical axes, with single and double pre-bending; welding systems.
«This production – adds Boracchi – is then completed by machines and plants with customized design for different typologies of sheet metal and profiles, as well as by special plants for factories and yards intended for the production of tanks for the food and industrial sectors».
We refer in particular to special plants that constitute complete “turn-key” lines, in other words processes starting from the coil and achieving the finished product through various transformations.

«With the added value – underlines Boracchi – that the full line is completely designed by our technical office and implemented by us in all of its parts. Therefore, without the eventual purchase and/or integration of intermediate stations from third parties».
According to this logic, they integrate for instance complete lines for the implementation of bottoms, roofs and barrels, constituted by presses and handlers coupled with flanging machines. Process lines that can also provide for the in-line welding phase, it too in-house developed and based on the company’s engineering (with the exception of generators, bought exploiting Fronius and Saf technology).
«Concerning the product innovation – ends Boracchi – I would like finally to underline the recent release on the market of our 3RHT series, a range of new 3-roll bending machines with variable geometry that, actually, complete our offer dedicated to this type of sheet metal working».
“Made-in-Italy” quality and competence, coupled with a sound and skilled structure allow then Imcar to satisfy the most different working requirements in the ever-competing sector of the plate and profile forming.

The initials 3RHT identify the new series of plate bending machines developed by Imcar to complete its product offer. Variable-geometry machines (available in 10 different models) with fully hydraulic operation, where the 3 rolls with independent movements can bend plates with thicknesses included between 25 and 120 mm, for lengths up to 4,000 mm. Reliability, capability and productive precision are the three main strong points of these plate bending machines, obtained thanks to technological solutions springing from consolidated know-how. Among the other technical specifications, it is worth highlighting the availability of two rotation speeds that can be selected from the control board, the management of the roll parallelism through PLC and a reduced working height made possible by the plate that always remains in horizontal position (thus granting better safety, too).
