The screws are precision-thread rolled from premium-grade 303 stainless steel or custom heat-treated 400 stainless steel. The high accuracy and superior uniformity of the threads delivers precise motion and a reduction in noise and vibration. The screws come in standard configuration, which includes 2 mm diameter screws that have leads ranging from 0.3 mm to 2 mm per revolution. According to the company, the screws will require no maintenance and have a long life use.
These screws will be integrated into Haydon’s line of linear actuators and be available as standalone components.
