CEN (European Committee for Standardization) have launched a new improved website that give more visibility and integration to social media (Facebook and Twitter) and can be accessed via different digital devices such as tablets and smartphones, thanks to a responsive layout. In homepage you can finda a carousel highlighting important information.
Information about different areas of activity can be found under “Fields of work” (via the “What we do” tab on the main navigation bar), while the “Search Standards” facility allows people to locate publications in the CEN catalogue. There is also information about the work of specific Technical Committees, as well as recent, ongoing and upcoming developments (“Standards evolution and forecast”). Alongside the new CEN website, there is also a new version of the Business Operations Support System (BOSS), which provides practical information to those who are actively involved in the development of CEN deliverables, such as Technical Body Officers. The new BOSS can be accessed via the “Quick Links” on the CEN homepage. The new CEN website is open for business at www.cen.eu.
