yamawa-ambJapanese manufacturer Yamawa will participate in AMB exhibition for the first time from 16th to 20th September 2014. In the ‘cradle of Automobile’ Stuttgart, Yamawa will focus on the three lines of taps designed for optimal performances in machining automotive components such as the wheel hub, cylinder blocks and engine head: MHSL, for through holes on medium-hard steels, such as carbon and medium alloy steel; AXE-HT, in HSS-P, for blind and through hole threading for Aluminium Alloy die-casting; MC-AD-CT, micro-grain carbide, with internal coolant, for blind hole threading of Aluminium Alloy die-casting. The whole range of Yamawa products will be present at AMB at the stand Sorma – Yamawa European Stock Center since 1998 – Hall 1, Stand Z 231 (gallery).

Founded in 1923 by Jokichi Watanabe, Yamawa differentiates itself for its production capacity exceeding 1.500.000 tools per month and its excellent Quality Control process, built over a rigorously defined protocol:
triple quality control on 100% of production; regular control of machines calibration; total warranty of compliance to Yamawa norms for each tool produced.

During its 90 years, the Japanese manufacturer has been focusing resources and efforts to be able to offer consistently increasing guarantee for the crucial process of threading when usually all machining mistakes can be paid at a very high toll. By providing longer tool-life, Yamawa has been able to focus to an overall cost per thread reduction, giving maximum reliability to the threading taps, dies and center drills industry.
