The Saudi Arabia based BBC Paints has became the leading supplier of paints in the Middle East, thanks to X-Rite Pantone’s range of products and services that supported their commitment to color quality and customer satisfaction. This is the announcement of X-Rite Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary Pantone LLC announced.

BBC Paints was founded with one paint factory in 1995. Since that time, the company has expanded to include two additional factories, four regional offices, and 120 point of sale locations around the Kingdom. BBC Paints also services a growing list of countries, with branches in Egypt, Bahrain, Iraq, Yemen and Syria.

Mr. Ammar Al-Ammari (Owner & General Manager) at BBC says, “Since our founding, we have always believed in colors; how colors can charm our world and make it a meaningful and more beautiful place. We keep innovating our facilities, products, and services so that we can support that inspiration and maintain our position as a leader in the industry.”

X-Rite Pantone productThroughout their growth, BBC has relied on X-Rite Pantone and their reseller Color Zone to provide a range of solutions that can support their dedication to color and service. These solutions include:

– The X-Rite Color i5 Benchtop Spectrophotometer is a flexible instrument that gives BBC Paints accurate, high-volume production measurements on a wide variety of samples sizes, shapes, textures, and opacity levels.

– The SP64 Portable Sphere Spectrophotometer to provide precise color measurement information on a wide range of materials, including paper, paint, plastics, and textiles.

To link their branches with the color matching software, BBC Paints employs CA22 45°/0° Tethered Spectrophotometer.

Much of the company’s growth has come from the expansion of their retail locations, kiosks, and online stores. To give customers at these locations the same level of color quality and consistency, BBC Paints again turns to X-Rite solutions, including:

X-Rite’s ColorDesigner® PLUS is a color matching software package that expedites and refines the paint selection process for customers. BBC Paints can then mix the customer’s color in the exact paint product they want – eliminating wasted effort and formulation errors.

X-Rite’s CAPSURE handheld color-matching tool gives BBC Paints a tool for finding an exact match for any sample. CAPSURE accurately measures the color on smooth, textured, or patterned samples – literally any inspirational object the customer may have.

X-Rite’s i1 technology is also used to ensure color displays accurately on every monitor or LCD terminal used by BBC Paints.X-Rite Pantone products range
