Bosch Rexroth and Procter Machine Guarding signed a partnership to specify, design and install the Bosch Rexroth EcoSafe modular aluminium perimeter machine guarding system for customers throughout the UK.
The guarding specialist has already invested in training for its sales engineers and fitters, and holds stock of the EcoSafe product range. In addition, the company is adding the Bosch Rexroth EcoSafe guarding products to its own website, so that engineers and specifiers can identify and download the information they need as quickly and easily as possible.
Depending on the customer and the project, Procter Machine Guarding can provide any level of service required. For example, this might entail the supply of EcoSafe posts, panels and all fittings that have been part-assembled to a customer’s design, or a fully project managed service including a site survey, design, specification, assembly and installation of guarding using EcoSafe componentry, and bespoke components such as infill panels where this is required.
When Procter takes responsibility for the design and specification, all guards comply with EC and HSE requirements and are CE marked or issued with a Declaration of Conformity, as appropriate, on completion. If customers have prepared their own layout design, Procter can quote against these on either a supply-only or supply-and-install basis. Where required, guard switches can be installed in preparation for connecting to a safety-related control system, saving time for the customer or system integrator.
