giulio-contaldi_matteiIng. Enea Mattei group inaugurated new headquarters in Suzhou, in the Chinese province of Jiangsu, along the Yangtze river. Part of the Ing. Enea Mattei group, it operates in the assembly, testing and sale of rotary vane compressors in the Chinese and South-East Asian markets.

The headquarters covers a total of 4 thousand square metres, with offices, production departments and warehouses, now with 12 employees that should rise to 25 within the end of the year.

Attending the inauguration, in addition to Mr. Giulio Contaldi, Ing. Enea Mattei SpA CEO, were local authorities and numerous customers and suppliers including Italian corporate managers located in this highly industrialised area.

On the Chinese market with its compressors for over 30 years, Ing. Enea Mattei already opened a production site in 2009. Today, a new step forward with Mattei Suzhou and the consolidation of the distribution network: “Our product is extremely popular in China. – continued Contaldi – To date, we have reaped the highest satisfaction in both the electric bus sector, with supplies to the three leading market players, and in the aluminium processing industry sector, thanks to the high resistance to high temperatures and chemical powder and substance aggression that appropriately equipped Mattei compressors are able to offer. The plan for Mattei Suzhou includes high growth, able to contribute a significant 25% of consolidated group sales by 2018”.
