Smart bending with an advanced materials database

The machine’s Technological Material Database (TMDB) enables consistent and precise bends, continuously optimising angle corrections and allowing both batch and dynamic runs.

A compact footprint makes the BCe Smart 2220 ideal for space-conscious operations, while its semi-automatic operation balances flexibility and efficiency. Manual sheet loading/unloading supports smart workflows, boosting throughput. Safety is ensured with dual laser scanners and light curtains that slow machine operation when the operator enters the safety zone.

User-friendly interface and modularity

Its user-friendly interface simplifies both operation and programming. The modular design supports easy customisation, automation integration, and future upgrades. Remote diagnostics reduce downtime, and the servo-electric system ensures fast, precise bending with low energy consumption and no need for hydraulic oil or related consumables.

The BCe Smart 2220 features high-performance HMI software: Master BendCam 2D and Tulus Bend.

  • Master BendCam 2D provides 2D visualisation of the bending process, CAD import, tool configuration, collision detection, virtual axis positioning, fast programming, and teach mode.
  • Tulus HMI enables fast setup and real-time management of tools, bending parameters, and diagnostics. It also guides the operator through visual and contextual instructions, offering full control and monitoring of machine operations.

Structurally, the machine consists of a rigid, stationary main frame and a C-frame holding the bending blades, ensuring strength and precision.

The BCe Smart 2220 supports:

Operator-Centered Design

A barrier-free layout enhances ergonomics and accessibility. Lowerable worktables assist with loading small or mid-sized parts. Visual and sound signals keep the operator focused on core tasks. The machine accommodates sheets up to 1,500 mm wide, panels with 3,000 mm diagonal and enables complex bend profiles with a 55 mm re-entering bend and 52-ton clamping force. It handles material thicknesses down to 0.5 mm, ensuring versatility across applications.
