The industry sector will gather in Stuttgart for the 17th Blechexpo international trade fair focused on sheet metal working, alongside the 10th Schweisstec international trade fair for joining technology, taking place from October 21 to 24, 2025
Over four action-packed days, the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre will dedicate nine bustling halls entirely to sheet metal working, both current trends and future innovations. The topics covered will span thermal and mechanical sheet metal processing, system peripherals such as controllers and software, handling and feeding solutions, and quality assurance. Blechexpo/Schweisstec is a highly regarded technical event where suppliers and users come together to explore the latest advancements and engage in direct dialogue with industry experts.
The exhibition layout is designed for clarity and efficiency, ensuring visitors can easily navigate the fair. Sheet metal, pipe, and profile processing will be showcased in Halls 1, 3, 5, and 7. Halls 4 and 6 will focus on stamping technologies, while Hall 9 will feature cutting, joining, and fastening technologies. Pressing and forming technologies will take centre stage in Hall 8, while Hall 10 will cover steel and metal services, along with surface finishing technologies.

“Best Award 2025” to Showcase Outstanding Technical Solutions
The “Best Award” competition is now open for submissions across five categories: sheet metal, pipe, and profile processing; pressing and forming technologies; stamping technologies; cutting, joining, and fastening technologies; and steel and metal services, including surface finishing technologies. This competition has become a staple of the program, celebrating exceptional innovations. Companies are already responding to the call for entries, with submissions being accepted via the www.maschinenmarkt-awards.de/best-award portal and the trade fair website at www.blechexpo-messe.de. Participation is free. A jury of experts will select the winners in each category by the end of the submission period, and the awards will be presented during a ceremony at 4 p.m. on October 21, 2025, marking the end of the trade fair’s first day.

Career Friday, organised by the trade fair promoters in collaboration with exhibitors under the motto “Shape Your Dreams, Metal Your Future,” will be a key highlight at Blechexpo/Schweisstec 2025. «Our goal with this initiative is to actively support young people by providing insights into everyday work routines and helping them build valuable connections with companies,» explains Bettina Schall, managing director of trade fair promoters P.
