How to evaluate the feasibility of components that require bending

There are many small details in bending that, if undervalued, lead to a waste of time that is hard to quantify. Some examples: the layout of tools, the type and quality of available equipment, the ability and experience of the individual operator… Now, in a period of change, where the “old guard” of experts who learned their trade with complex, if not almost impossible processes, is slowly making way for a few youngsters willing to learn one of the finest manual jobs in the world, not a few problems are emerging.
