Bystronic, together with many guests, celebrated the official integration of TTM Laser into the Bystronic Group. The event also opened the new Experience Center and offered a world premiere of the new laser cutting system ByTube 130.

On May 10, 2019, on the outskirts of Brescia, numerous guests assembled at the TTM Laser headquarters to ring in a new era. TTM Laser is now a full member of the Bystronic Group. As a result, the location in Cazzago San Martino will be the Competence Center Tube Processing of the Bystronic Group. Bystronic and TTM Laser celebrated this occasion.

Who is TTM Laser

TTM Laser was founded in 2001 and has specialized in the development of 2D and 3D laser systems for cutting tubes and profiles. After a partnership that began in 2017, this past year Bystronic took over the company, based in Cazzago San Martino, and its production site in order to supplement the group’s technology range in laser cutting solutions for tubes and profiles.

The customers and guests attending were stylishly welcomed in Cazzago San Martino with a red carpet that led directly into the production hall. That is where the tube and profile laser cutting systems originate before they are delivered from Italy to companies around the world in various industries, from automotive and agricultural machinery to construction and architecture.

New Experience Center and world premiere of ByTube 130

In his address, Alex Waser, CEO of the Bystronic Group, emphasized the important role of TTM Laser in the Bystronic portfolio: “The tube and profile processing technologies that we are developing and producing in Cazzago San Martino are an important element. This modern production location and its committed employees afford ideal conditions. Therefore, we will concentrate our expertise in the area of tube and profile processing here.

A new Experience Center was also opened. It includes a modern showroom with around 3,200 square meters, in which the newest technologies for tube and profile processing will be presented in the future. For the formal inauguration, a red ribbon was cut by Alex Waser and members of the executive board. Additionally, in the Bystronic tradition, two Swiss cowbells were presented. One bell was received by the German company Klöckner & Co. The other bell was given to Paolo Maccarana, director of the new Experience Center.

The last highlight was carried out by Sales Director Stefano Dal Lago. He gave the signal to unveil the newest technology from Cazzago San Martino: the new tube laser cutting system, ByTube 130. This is the first cutting system that TTM Laser and Bystronic will introduce to the market together, in the near future, as an official Bystronic product.
