Together with the 8th Schweisstec international trade fair for joining technology, the 15th Blechexpo international trade fair for sheet metal working will open its doors in its traditional, time-tested double pack format in Stuttgart from the 26th through the 29th of October, 2021. State-of-the-art technologies for sheet metal processing and metalworking, including joining technology, are on the agenda. Exhibitors and expert visitors will discuss standalone and system solutions for complete process chains involving the fabrication of parts made from sheet metal, profiles and pipe – live and in person.
The specialised expert audience will meet at the industry’s most important trade fair, namely Blechexpo/Schweisstec 2021, in order to remain at the cutting edge and to draw inspiration from efficient, up-to-date process technologies in sheet metal processing and joining applications. Digitalization, sustainability and process efficiency within the context of a rapidly changing production landscape are driving further development in the sheet metal processing industry. Exhibition topics include standalone and system solutions for process sequences involving the fabrication of parts made from sheet metal, profiles and pipe, as well as associated thermal and mechanical processing, cutting technologies, processing machines, equipment for stamping, bending, braking and forming, system peripherals including controls and software, and solutions for handling and quality assurance.
Networking is Shaping the Future
As a time-tested, traditional platform for standalone and system solutions for entire process chains, Blechexpo/Schweisstec also provides an excellent opportunity for collaboration – because the issue of networking is at the top of the agenda for progressive companies – in terms of both process engineering and digital technology; networking is by no means just a fashionable buzzword and will shape future business. Industry players will respond to the transformation of industrial production at various levels with networking and collaboration. As a result, exhibitors and expert visitors will also benefit from the synergy effects of the trade fair duo, and from the strictly practice-oriented event concept. The clear-cut trade fair demonstrations of fully automated sheet metal processing machines with robotics and gantry solutions, as well as system peripherals with controls and software, provide expert visitors with optimised support in making decisions for their investment projects.
Hygiene Concept Ready to Go
“High booking levels in recent months for the live event in Stuttgart from 26 to 29 October 2021 underscore just how much the industry sector cherishes the event as a unique, globally recognised marketplace,” says Georg Knauer, Blechexpo/Schweisstec project manager. “Exhibitors and expert visitors are looking forward to this fall’s trade fair highlight and to a personal exchange at the on-site event.” Trade fair promoters P. E. Schall are fulfilling all of the prerequisites for providing exhibitors and expert visitors with ideal conditions for an optimised business exchange at Blechexpo/Schweisstec, and are fully aligning themselves to the hygiene concept adopted by the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre, which has been extensively coordinated with the responsible authorities and implemented on the basis of the generally valid Corona Ordinance of the State of Baden-Württemberg.
