emo-hannover-exhibitionThe VDW (German Machine Tool Builders’ Association) has announced the dates of EMO Hannover 2017, the world’s premier trade fair for the metalworking sector. The VDW in Frankfurt am Main, which is responsible for organising the EMO Hannover, has announced that the next event will be held from 18 to 23 September 2017. “We are announcing the dates well in advance so that exhibitors and visitors can make their plans in good time”, says Dr. Wilfried Schäfer, Executive Director of the VDW.

The nearest next EMO will take place from September 05 to 10, 2015 in Milan.

The EMO Hannover will be showcasing the entire bandwidth of modern-day metalworking technology, the heart of every industrial production operation. It will be showcasing the very latest machines, plus efficient technical solutions, product-supportive services, sustainability in the production process, and much, much more. The EMO Hannover’s principal focus is on cutting and forming machine tools, production systems, high-precision tools, automated material flows, computer technology, industrial electronics and accessories.

The trade visitors to the EMO come from all major industrial sectors, like machinery and plant construction, the automotive industry and its component suppliers, aerospace technologies, precision mechanics and optics, shipbuilding, medical technology, tool and mould building, steel and lightweight engineering. The EMO Hannover is the biggest international meeting point for production technology anywhere in the world. The last EMO Hannover fair in 2013 attracted more than 2,100 exhibitors and round 143,000 trade visitors from 114 different countries.
